The Apprentice Program
Working in unison with New York City based costume shops, we have launched our first jr. apprenticeship program. Our aim to help build and maintain the workforce allowing for new opportunities. The Re\\Thread Project will offer a variety of free and low cost training for future and seasoned industry members and hands on paid apprenticeship programs with costume shops. Acting as a pipeline to harnessing technology to ensure the growth and longevity of the costume workforce. Stay tuned as we grow our partners!
Train in Active NYC Costume Shops
As a participant in The Re\\Thread Project's Apprentice Program, you will train and work in real NYC costume shops and workrooms. You will benefit from on-the-job training from skilled professionals.
Compensation While Training
All participants in The Re\\Thread Project Apprentice Program will be paid an industry standard wage while participating in their on-the-job training.
